We collect and process personal data from users of the website only to the extent necessary to provide a comfortable and functional website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users takes place regularly only after consent of the user. An exception applies in those cases in which prior consent cannot be obtained for actual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by statutory provisions.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data
We process your personal data in compliance with the provisions of the European Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO), and based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), and all other relevant laws on the processing of personal data. This shall also apply to processing operations necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the person concerned do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.

Transfer of data to third countries
Data may be transferred to locations in countries outside Switzerland and the European Union (so-called third countries) if servers or cloud services are located in third countries and also if this is necessary to fulfil contractual or legal obligations and, in addition, an appropriate level of data protection has been confirmed by the EU Commission in the third country concerned, or other appropriate data protection guarantees (e.g. binding internal company data protection regulations, EU standard contract clauses or, in the case of US companies, EU-US Privacy Shield certification) are in place.
