II. General information on data processing
Scope of collection and processing of personal data
We collect and process personal data from users of the website only to the extent necessary to provide a comfortable and functional website and our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users takes place regularly only after consent of the user. An exception applies in those cases in which prior consent cannot be obtained for actual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by statutory provisions.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
We process your personal data in compliance with the provisions of the European Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO), and based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Swiss Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), and all other relevant laws on the processing of personal data. The specific legal basis for data processing depends on the context in which and the purpose for which we receive your data.
Insofar as we obtain the consent for the processing of personal data from the person concerned, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) serves as the legal basis. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO serves as a legal basis for the processing of personal data required for the performance of a contract to which the person concerned is a party. This shall also apply to processing operations necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis.
If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms of the person concerned do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis for the processing.
Recipient of the data
Only those persons or bodies within SDI who need your data to fulfil their contractual or legal obligations will have access to it. Service providers used by us (e.g. IT service providers) may also receive data for these purposes.
Other data recipients may be those entities for which you have given us your consent to the transfer of data or for which we are authorized to transfer personal data on the basis of a weighing of interests.
Transfer of data to third countries
Data may be transferred to locations in countries outside Switzerland and the European Union (so-called third countries) if servers or cloud services are located in third countries and also if this is necessary to fulfil contractual or legal obligations and, in addition, an appropriate level of data protection has been confirmed by the EU Commission in the third country concerned, or other appropriate data protection guarantees (e.g. binding internal company data protection regulations, EU standard contract clauses or, in the case of US companies, EU-US Privacy Shield certification) are in place.
III. Measures to protect your privacy
We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures in accordance with the state of the art to protect data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons. The data traffic on this website is encrypted via https for this purpose. You can recognize an encrypted connection, for example, by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
Data erasure and storage duration
Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage can also take place if this has been provided for by European or national legislators in corresponding regulations, laws or other provisions to which the person responsible is subject.
